May 2000: 3rd Pick and Place Machine acquired by
ATI
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc, has completed
it's purchase of a third Pick and Place assembly machine. The purchase will help to
enhance Adapter Technologies' capabilities in the field of BGA/CSP component assembly.
April 2000: Addition of Pace TF 2000 BGA/CSP Rework
system
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc.'s acquisition of a Pace TF 2000 BGA/CSP Rework System gives
ATI full capability to remove, rework, and attach BGA devices onto both bare
and assembled boards.
January 2000: Aqueous Board Cleaning System
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc. acquisition of additional
manufacturing equipment. Enhancements include automatic solder stencil machine, Hollis
aqueous board cleaning system, and Dover Soltec wave and drag solder machines. With
the addition of the Hollis aqueous board cleaning system Adapter Technologies is
capable of utilizing more environmentally friendly water soluble fluxes for the
manufacturing of PCB assemblies.
November 1999: New 8000 foot Expansion
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc, has just expanded our
facility to 8000 square feet. The additional space will be utilized in the growth of our
surface mounting business and the fast pace growth of our .050 standard spacing BGA
socketing products, and our 1mm BGA socketing products.
April 1999: Addition of Pick and Place
Assembly Equipment
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc, has completed
it's purchase of two Pick and Place assembly machines. The purchase will help to
enhance Adapter Technologies' capabilities in the field of surface mount component
assembly.
September, 1998: .040 spacing socketing
product developed
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc, has expanded it's Socketing
products line with the development of an .040 spaced bga socket and header. Planned to be
introduced into the market in the second quarter of 1999, the new product line will help
Adapter Technologies to better service it's customer's changing needs.
June, 1998: Drilling machine acquisition
completed
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies Inc, purchases Malco Industry's
Excellon drilling machines. The acquisition of the drilling machines
will allow Adapter Technologies complete control over the manufacturing and quality of
it's FR-4 glass socketing components.
April 1998: Ivers Keller appointed SMT
Services Manager
Perkasie PA. Adapter Technologies has appointed Ivers Keller as SMT Services
Manager for the company's ASM Surface Mount Assembly Business. In this position, he will
be responsible for the 2200 square foot SMT business unit which provides customers with
high end Application specific module assemblies at low and high volumes. Keller previously
worked at Brooks Instruments as a Research and Development Technician, responsible for
prototype builds of high end modular SMT assemblies and for the operations of there
multifaceted flow laboratory.
